And I made it very clear there wasn't any other specific threads for posting them in. Thought I admit I was being a bit lazy at the time and didn't want to start a new thread, or threads, since there is so many various machines.
But since everyone is going to, I just won't post.

Well technically it's my dad's, but I'm trying to get it off him since he almost never uses it. It's been out like twice in the last year or two and it sat for like 6-7 before that in my shed, where it's at now. Indian Falls is about 7 miles north of Darien Lake, and about 12 east of Batavia. The one we have I want to keep just for trails but if I get another one I have thrown the idea around of either restoring it or racing it, not really sure. Flat track might be fun but I'm also interested in the MX track we have near here. I see you are in Rochester, I have family there and am up there frequently. Once I get my van back on the road in the summer I would LOVE to come riding with some of you guys, there is almost nowhere around here to legally ride.
i actually started racing because there isnt anywhere here ride either! there is some races this summer in batavia.. and a flat track/tt track 35 min east of rochester. At least 200x's are cheap and plentiful.

Haha how funny! Yeah I know they have races in Batavia but wasn't sure they allowed three wheelers. There is an MX track that sits along the thruway just outside of town closer to me, and there is a dirt track they race cars on at the opposite end. We have some local trails but nothing great, just a set of railroad tracks and company property you are technically trespassing on. It sucks. No one wants you on their property. Good to here Batavia is hosting some trike races though, didn't think they were all that common around here. Couple of my friends used to race dirt bikes years back.
My X isn't even remotely ready for any competition racing anyways. Needs a lot of work even though it's clean, most of it being general maintenance from sitting. Needs a front tire, possibly a back if I can't patch it (not for racing anyways), a chain, full fluids change, and fork boots. Motor might be a little tired, as far as I know it's never been rebuilt, but it doesn't smoke. All stock motor, even has the baffle in the stock pipe. It has quite a lot of miles on it. Need to tighten the shifter lever too, has some slop.

Well sounds just like the bike I fixed up last week! I did bearings/exhaust/grab bar/handle bars/ a rear axle. Lol as for the 200x bikes around here not many are "built". Some have pipes... As far as I'm concerned it's about fun. Not about putting a fortune into a bike and then not riding it... My bike, like most things I build are built on a budget and built to last. No crazy motor work which kills reliability. Slap a set of tires on it, get a new chain as sprocket set, flush the oil.. An head to the track!

Yeah I hear ya. I have seen an X or two but not all the time and you are right about them being mostly stock. I low to ride them but I like to make them look nice as well. Ill put tires on it and a chain, sprockets look really good with almost no visible wear. I know its good practice to change em at the same time but I'm so broke its out of the question. I don't know how I'm gonna even get a tire especially since my car needs work. Once I get it going ill holler. The big thing is a carb cleaning.
You know slash, you can make a request to the mods to move your posts 106 and 107 to a new thread. I'll ask you to do it to show that I don't have it in for you. Trust me, I have a real passion for the old, unusual and wide tire machines, just check my signature. I also try and look out for my friends too, of which Jsmay is one. I see recent pictures of Tommy Gaian, but I notice you show no pictures of his old racing 200x, a truly unique machine. I also sent Jason some 200x pics in the past and asked him not to show them, since they weren't mine to publicly show, which he had no problem with. I don't really like being a bully or a tool box, but we usually try and respect others threads, which works better somedays than others. We all enjoy great info and are not trying to stifle your input, which is appreciated, but please try to stick to the topic. You do have the option to clear this up. The choice is up to you. The decision will go along way towards your credibility on here. Your call my friend.
