Is the small jet on a carb supposed to have a ball bearing?

Ok I am cleaning my carb all I have left is the small jet. I own a Honda ATC 200M. Anyways on the small jet i sprayed in it, put small wire in it, put a stiff piece of metal in there and its either clogged or a small ball bearing. I held it at an angle and can see its shining what ever it is.

    wow

some of those passages are drilled straight thru and then plugged with, like you imagine,
a ball bearing or even a rubber plug.

    click on

    service manual

and also try the search key.

Parts diagrams ofrom a place like
    bikebandit
can also give you a great overview.

    Nice!
    So the jets are clear?
Were you able to blow thru the internal passages too?

Does it seem to run correctly? Good cold start and idle?

Sounds like you were describing the 'slow jet' and not the aluminum carb body.
an .008" or .010" guitar string should fit easily or at least be able to see through it.

Sometimes that crud almost needs dental tools. Can get as hard as a rock.

    Congrats on getting it
