is your thermostat right on top or is it going into the side of the head?

I'll check again in the morning, but my memory say it comes into the back side of the head..

I'd say great scores onm both sled, I've owned a little 250 like yours and they are a true run forever, whenever machine. And for the price of that formula I woulda jumped on that all day long. Great finds
