    We did a 200x frontend on a 225 like 20 years ago. Pretty good improvement for sure.

    I took it off while changing out the stator but its back on there now. The wiring harness on Timberwolf stator will not match up with the 225 DX plugs. You have to swap out the flywheel as well because its to big for the 225 stator.

    If your old motor is worn out or your wanting to gain reverse then yes. If you have a good motor already then I wouldn't mess with changing it. My old motor was knocking and I scored this one for $50 off a Timberwolf that had a bad rear axle.
