    Good Trade?

I was offered a trade for my decent running 1984 250r. The offer is 1 decent 1983 250r that needs piston rings/maybe cylinder, 2 1985 tecates that need work. Both tecates are missing rear plastics and seat, besides that seem to be complete. Also both are locked up, the guy says one turned over and started if primed but seems to be locked up now from sitting. I don't know anything about Tecates so I figured I would post it up here and see what everyone thought. The guy says he wants to ride and doesn't have time or money for a shop to fix them. Seems to be a decent deal because I like projects. Are tecate parts expensive? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

another example of someone speaking without a clue. 84-85 t3 parts are plentiful and most of the time they almost can't be given away

Actually I am speaking from experience. A couple of yrs ago when I needed some parts, they werent cheap. From what I have seen parts go for, they arent cheap compared to most of the trikes I have owned.
