    1987 200X build

Just picked up my 87 200x a month ago. Debating whether or not to completely tear down and restore yet as I don't want to invest a ton into it. I think it may have the original front tire on it yet, but I am not sure how to tell. Unfortanutely, it has aftermarket rear fenders and seat cover. I am looking for some parts if anyone has these:

    Rear Grab Bar
    Rear Tail light assembly
    Rear Axle nut
    Rear Fender

Looks like the original front tire to me. It also looks like the rears are the original style too. I have an 87 200X with stock rear grab bar, but I pinched it when I put a flag on it once. It is still fully functional, probably not what you want if your doing a full on restoration, but just thought I'd offer. Please let me know if you find a way to buy a new one, or if you find anyone with any in stock.
Theres a guy in CT. whos trying to sell a complete restoration 200X , he's asking $7000! Dont think he'll get that anytime soon, but thought I'd mention it.
I also have a 86 250R that I'd like to put original style decals on. Do you plan on finding someone to make original style decals for you? Not sure where to find someone, any Ideas??
Good luck with yours, and have fun riding it.

Ok thanks, kind of screwed up the threads replacing the rear axle bearings and now the jam nut is stripped out. I haven't ordered any decals yet, but got a quote from Harlan Lysne. they looked real good from the pics he sent me.

2 years later and this thing is practically done, finally managed to find all the OEM parts for it. It went frame down over the winter and back together piece by piece. It's not showroom but its at least the way an 87 should look.
