needed to move the 2 brackets like 1/2 a inch and make 2 brackets for the shock .

havent finished the oil tank yet but we are making it out of aluminum. and putting it in front of the engine.

question, ont he 400ex swinger. why didn't you remove the pivot bearings, and jsut gird it down on each side till it properly fit in the stock location then reinstall the bearings and ensure they are flush with the new spot? is that not possible?

with the tiny amount of room between the fram and the front of the motor will the oil tank be too close to the motor for temp reasons?? on a 400ex the oil tank is a good ways forward of the motor so air can hit it and go around it and be clear of the heat from the engine. just a thought.

Maybe the oil tank could be fab'd to fit in the stock 350x oil cooler location on the side of the tank with a bigger shroud around it? Just an idea... And is that 400ex motor got reverse?? Please tell me it does. That would make for the best sport trike set-up in my opinion.

Hello. check out top notch 350x album. He has build 2 350x with 400ex motor. His looks stock has rev. and electric start. he is a good friend of mine. bike rides hard. he made the oil tank from a ac dryer added mounts and fitting, gutted the inside. looks nice and fits in between motor and frame. he left stock 350x swingarm.
