    Good deal??

So I had a 1990 Suzuki LT250 4wd that I threw up on Craigslist in the barter section to trade for a 250sx or 250 Big Red, not really expecting any one to bite, but what the hell..??

Anywho, I got a call from a guy who had a 2005 Polaris Scrambler 500, said it ran great, trans was great, plastic was a little rough but not bad, and that the front axles were removed because one of them broke. So he made a 2 and a half hour drive to my place and we made the deal. I like the quad, it's pretty fast (well, waaay faster than that Suzuki I had), motor makes no funny noises or rattling, drives straight, all in all it seems like it would be a good trail rider.

My question is, does this sound like a good trade? I almost seem like I kinda got the way better end of the deal, although that Suzuki was a good looking and riding quad, in super low with the diff. lock on it could pull a house down.

I agree, I just hope there isn't any "hidden surprises". Guy seemed like a straight up guy though, I didn't get that "I'm gonna screw you" vibe from him like I get with some people.

Did some more fishing around and saw the fuel valve drips fuel. Not too bad. Did some more looking and it has an FMF pipe and silencer, uni filter and the carb has been re-jetted. Rode it everyday since I got it, it's holding up well so far. Going for an all day ride with my buddy through the woods Sunday, so we'll see what happens then!
