honda makes a few 200 atc's that have electric start if that helps ? they also have a 200x that is kick start.. depending on your needs ?? also the 85 and up 250 sx and big red with electric and a kick start back up with full suspension might be an option also ?? good luck in your search..
our original 85 we bought new, 2 - 86 police specials

You might want to consider finding the an electric start or kickstart model instead of trying to convert. Easiest conversion would be 200x motor that has the kickstart and bolts right in for the most part. But to do the electric start your going to need some fabrication stills to mount the battery box and reroute the exhaust.

The electric start models will be harder to find and more expensive, but really nice.

A well tuned pullstart motor doesnt take much effort at all. Mine all start with half a pull.

I don't understand. You bought a trike that's pull start only and now you want to sell it because it's pull start only?

If you put some time and money into it, it'll start with one or two pulls every time, warm or cold.

My old 185 barely ran but still fired on the first light pull every time. As long as there was gas in it haha.

    electric start conversion?

Nahh Guys...I have not bought this 200 yet,,,I have really screwed up arms and what would seem like nuthin to most of you (pulling a starter rope) is almost impossible for me....What I was asking was: Is there any kind of conversion to add an electric starter or replace the pull with a kicker that is easy,,,I am used to working on old Harleys and I am a blacksmith, so the battery addition and that kinda stuff is no big deal,,,just lookin for a shortcut as the machine I am looking at is like new and has a VERY reasonable price and I don't want to lose it if I can convert it,,,thanks, D~

    Ahh, that makes sense.

There is a company that makes aftermarket electric starters called Goki. However, they are not cheap by any means and I don't know if they make a starter for that particular model trike. It would help if you told us what year and model the 200 is. There are many variations of the Honda ATC 200.

No is the answer you're looking for. You'd need another motor or bottom end at least. Plus the handlebar controls on any ATC will be rough compared to 4 wheelers
    Trikes:
-Custom 200x auto (early 80's 185 frame, custom swing arm, 185 case w/ high comp 200x topend, vintage aftermarket Big Red width tree with 200x forks)
-Custom 185es (basically just a 200es w/185 topend, custom paint)
-fairly stock 185s (185 with 200s front suspension and rear fenders)
-fairly stock 250sx (desert race rear bar, 10" Rr rims, 200x forks/wheel)
    -'86 250 Big red - project
    -'79 ATC 70 -project
    Bikes:
    -vf500c Magna (400lb bike w/ 70hp)
    -'69 Heald Super Bronc -project

This is incorrect. A.) as Fabio referenced Goki makes a kit for the ATC200 model. B.) a 3 wheeler is way easier to steer than a quad and control, especially with good front suspension(less weight, 1 wheel). I'll take my 250es all day long over my Bayou 250 in the steering/handling department, and I am having surgery 1 of two on my shoulder in 8 days.
