Anybody ever run a answer pipe on a 250r

Have a stock motored 85r that came with a answer silencer and stock exhaust. I saw this used pipe for 50 bucks it is a old school answer s-11 equalizer head pipe. How are they on a stock 250r just looking to upgrade the exhaust without breaking the bank

Also anybody have a r with a answer pipe can you post a pic

i saw that too but was unsure if the actually made head pipes. i've never seen anything on them before so i wondered if the guy was correct with his identification. sorry this doesnt help much. would be cool though if thats what it was! i have a DG Nationals /s-11 silencer and like it quite a bit

Yes, Answer made headpipes, and they were most popular on the Yamaha Tri Z. A lot of racers used them back in the day. They look similar to a DG, but are a lot better, and are deffinatly better performance than a stock headpipe. For that amount of money, you better grab it.

That's what I thought aswell and I allready have silencer
