    Might be getting '86 350X

Well...I've been away from the 3wheeler scene for the past 10 years, so I'd like a little help on this one.

I have the opportunity to get a '86 350X. It comes with extra wheels/tires, plastics, and some parts. He's asking $800. The 'wheeler is over 500 miles away from me...so I cannot inspect it or ride it before I buy. All I can get is one crappy, blurry picture. I was told it was this guys "baby" and he is selling it because he needs the money. So what would ya'll do?
Right now, I have a hybrid....an '86 TRX250R chassis, '85 350X engine, '89 swingarm. It still needs a lot of work...but if I go with the ATC, I'll either keep parts off of my TRX that will swap over and part the rest out...or I'll just sell it outright.

Ask the seller to take a few detailed pictures for you. Being that far away, it wouldn't hurt before you make the trek there..

Yeah, I would atleast ask for some better quality pics, the tell him you will highly consider it after. If he comes out with a lame excuse, Do not buy it, because as sp8twn said, theres a reason.
If he gives pics, post em up!

I'd want a video of it running. Thats no short trip and if he wants to sell it, he can accommodate you.

Anyhow, if you buy it, you will love it, the 350X is one fun trike!
