What kinda engine could I slap in that rolling chassis besides another 200x one, I was thinking more along the lines of a two-stroke.

Would an 86/87 bottom end fit in the frame? The top ends are the same between the years arent they?

No....the 86-87 200x motors are a totally different animal. Nothing interchanges on them. 86 200s motors are similar to the earlier 200s's and 200x's, one of those would bolt in there if you were interested in an automatic clutch.

maybe put an air cooled R engine in one of those i think u could have gotten a nice 350x for a 01 blaster thow you are down grading in power wise going to a 200x the blaster put out more hp and was alot more snappyer then the 200Xs will be ive owned both.
looking for a TRI-Z 250 to restore at the moment
