    "Proper" way to deer transport

It tried to hide but failed. And was a total PIA to heft on the 200 alone. Not to mention what that 8 point did for the steering and balance. What an opening day! He was not the largest rack I have taken but the biggest bodied deer so far.Click image for larger version.

Built specificly with hauling deer in mind... Expanded metal is large enough and heavy duty enough to just drop the hooks of some ratchet straps in, and strap your veni down, and haul balls out of the woods... Nice and clean keeping them out of the mud and sand... (just so happens that the 70 fits on it too!) Broke my leg pretty bad right before deer hunting this year, so the BR and meatwagon didnt see any action this season...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Sorry to hear about your leg. That's gotta hurt! This one was unfortunatly a frontal shot but went down very close. I shot him with my Remington 700 in 243. On the farm they are all very well fed out of the corn fields.

    Nice buck!

The season here ends this coming sunday.. I still have a doe tag to fill. I'm suprised as heck I still heven't filled it by this point this year. But you know how it is, when you don't have the doe tag they are all over the place. Now that I got the tag, they all disappear!

We are quite convinced there is a memo that gors out amongst the deer, and other critters, regarding seasons.
