Trivia Question

In the early 70's Honda came out with the CR series MX bikes, the 125 & 250 Elsinore. Where did the name Elsinore dirive from? All guys from Calif & over 40 are excluded...........LOL..............is that a hint or what.
And also no one who has seen the original "On Any Sunday" that should narrow it up a little. J/K

Well Im over 40 and I lived in California for about 5 years, so I probably shouldnt answer, but my guess would have to do with a lake in the middle of some mountains.

Well, Tim since no one wants to play, your the winner, close enough on the answer. They were named after the Elsinore Grand Prix that was held in the small town of Lake Elsinore in the San Jaciento Mountains in So Calif. in the late 60's & early 70's. I remember going to see it one year and watched the amasing Malcom Smith make everyone look like they were pushing thier bikes around the course.
