atc 200M how to take off the fork stem nut

Ok Well i wanted to replace bearings in the front fork of my honda but I cant get the thing off for the life of me! The nut im talking about is the one that's holding that stem in the neck part of the frame. I put a screw driver on it and beat it left and right (not sure if threads are reversed) and nothing. I heated that sucker up (even melted my rubber seal a little!) and still nothing. I then put a chemical that breaks the rust and then some lube... and still NOTHING. What is the best way to remove that nut??

    Thanks,

    Cody

It's the standard Lefty - Loosy / Righty - Tighty style nut. It's possible that it is jammed on too tight and could be a real bear to get off.
