    Restoring first trike 1983 ATC200 Big Red

    I traded a non running truck for a running Big Red. Easier to store and the wife approved.
    After riding down to the neighbor's house a few times i decided to break out the shop manual and perform some maintenance. What I found is neglect and broken parts.
    I'll be stalking the forum and begging for parts and advice from everyone. I don't have a lot to spend so this may take a while. I'd just like to get this thing fixed and rideable/dependable.

    Welcome to the site. Sounds like your in the right place. Many members have parts for these bikes as they were a common motor. Any questions you have just ask. Also within a matter of minutes Monroe Mike will be posting a free manual.

    Where do i look/post for parts? Why is there no classifieds or WTB/WTS forum? I found what I need on ebay but I don't want to drop 50-80 on a sub-transmission when I only need a couple parts inside it.

    Yes I think I have one. I wont have time to pull it out til at least Thursday. The reason you cant get to the classifieds is because you have to be a member for so long to access them. Correct me if I am wrong guys.

    Yah, I wondered if there was a minimum post count or something. The reason I joined was to find these parts!

    For anyone else reading, I also need:
    a rear brake lever and all the associated hardware. I still have a perch present but someone removed the cable, lever, pivot, etc.
    One way clutch spring, as mine snapped the end off mysteriously.
    Right foot peg and mount (mine is pretty well bent)

    Dang...nice Big Red. I can't tell from the pic if she has the reverse lever in the trans - so is it an '83 or an '84? If it's an '83 I have a 200E in the bone yard...PM me with what you need.

    Yes, it's in great shape, considering it's almost as old as I am.
    83 with high/low. I need some parts for the sub trans. Think I'd rather have reverse, but i don't know if that's interchangeable. I'll definitely pm you. Ebay is a friggin ripoff.
