Check out this thread from years ago. I explain the easy way to install the spring. Takes less than a minute for me.

Great info Howdy. I used your information, and your right it only took a minute. Do you have any tips on how to properly hook up the decompression assembly on a 200s? I am having a heck of a time with mine. Thanks-Karl

Thanks for the input on the video. That is a deep dish recoil and they are a little harder to do than the standard ones. It actually takes 1/2 the time or less on them.

I don't have a 200s recoil with decompression to make a video of. I have done a couple of the 200s recoils years ago. They can be a pain. My best memory of them can't be posted on a family friendly web site. LOL
It's probably been 6-8 years since I done one. If you had it here I would tackle it, but I can't remember all the parts and what I did off the top of my head to give input. Sorry.

Funniest part about it is I took the pull starter completely apart just to do the video on installing the spring.

Some of the 200's are opposite of that. and are much harder when you have to wind in on to the wheel.
