I just tore my 99 V-Star 650 down, again… Anyway, I got the idea that I would really like to simplify this bike and convert it to a single carb. I can make a manifold but selecting the right carb is tricky. I did some searching and found some one selling a manifold and kit to convert them to a single. But no way am I spending $600 on just the manifold. Especially since I can make one. In my way of thinking I can eliminate all that plastic duct work, fuel pump, and maybe some of the electronics. Any thoughts on this?
