I know this is a 3 wheeler fourm but I recently bought a 1981 Honda Xl185s (almost the same engine as a 185 atc) and my buddy and I fixed the jug, head and valve cover gasket. Today I took it for a ride and for some reason it made a real loud screech and the rear tire locked up, as a somewhat experienced rider I figured I just locked up the motor. Went home checked the oil and it was fine, fired right up. Ideas?? Also I'm pretty sure this shouldn't happen but you can push and pull the cam about .25-.5 of an inch.
One more thing, I know that a 200 top end would work in this xl185s but would a 200x?
