    ATC70 Clutch ?????

As some of you know I just finished up a atc70 Build .
    http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...oll-Old-school

I installed HD clutch springs and new plates and all was good for about an hour , now its starting to slip again so my question is ... what are other options other than the 3 disk set up and HD springs ? is their a aftermarket chinese clutch with maybe 4 disks that will bolt right in ?
This little motor makes allot of power so looking for somthing HD .

Not sure how old your son is, but maybe xl70 manual clutch? If not, you're going to have to start measuring different springs, maybe use valve springs for the clutch???

My boy is 6 so it needs to stay auto for now and I was thinking of a better HD spring for sure .
If it's just my 45 pound son riding it the clutch would be fine and last forever probably but I just cant help myself to get on it

Dratv sells the manual conversion kit for really cheap .
The HD springs I installed were a 1/4" taller than the ones removed (which were powroll I believe) and much stronger so maybe I need a better quality clutch plate ???? wondering if barnett makes plates for these ?

Found a barnett set up this morning but its a 2 fiber plate set up so i'm guessing the fibers/ steels are reversed from oem ?

I'm running a Honda bottom, 88 kit, TB head with larger valves and cam (CRF style), 52 mm stroker and VM 26 carb. Stock clutch with HD springs and new disks lasted about 20 min. I put a TBW 0961 HD clutch assy from Tboltusa.com in it 2 years ago with no problems. Are you working on the Dunlap Poweroll 70 I tried to buy from you a year ago?

    Yes same motor .
Tore into it again and thought out of the "box" this time .
I just got back from a test run and finally got it .
Installed a set of HD atc90/110 clutch springs and BAM it hooks up with zero slipping
the atc90 springs are the same size just a little longer and much stiffer .

    Great!!
I'm working on a little different clutch setup. I put a manual clutch side cover on and left the auto clutch assy in. Works pretty good, but I've got a coupe bugs to work out. I need to put a foot brake on it. Works great on the hole shot and the auto makes a nice trail ride in rough terrain.

I just saw this thread ,that is what we were doing with the manual clutch we used out of the CT's when we converted from the atc clutch. And they were cheap cause you could always find a junk 110 for parts.
If its on the internet its got to be true they can't put any lie's on the internet
