Where can I buy a master cylinder for an 84 honda 200x?

Well when I saw mine it was missing the top cover and whatever else goes inside and the hole that holds the lever in was broken. I have the hose thingy. All I need is a new master cylider + lever etc. AND the break caliper. Please don't say ebay.. way to expensive. I'm fine with buying a 35 dollar caliper from ebay but not 100+ on some for a master cylinder. I only wan't breaks in the front. Back are to expensive. Are 3 wheeler salvage yards good and cheap for these? Or am i better off looking for someone parting a trike? I'd really LOVE to have brakes haha.

    Thanks,

    Cody R.

For $100 I would next day air ship you one. LOL That is too much IMO.
Some of us have extra parts like this. I have one currently on a machine ( I can pull another from stock to replace it ). By pulling one off a machine I can test it to be sure it works before shipping. Pm me if your interested.

No I do not want $100 for one. Way less than that.

most master cylinders out there (streetbike, dirtbike, atv) have the same size and style as your 200x's brake lines and banjo bolt. if youre lookin for a good deal go on ebay and type in 'pit bike master cylinder.' brand new outta china for $30ish and made of metal.

as far as a front caliper, you can use 81-84 250R and 83-85 200X

if youre slightly mechanically inclined, you can probably adapt one of those rear master cylinders to your 200x as well.

Yep, some of the China stuff can be adapted if it don't fit. I can still beat the China price though.

I may be beating a dead horse here, but I am a strong proponent of fixing the issues rather than let it ride because it is too expensive. My X had no brakes when I got it, and it was fixed before I took it to the trails.

Anyway, ebay has tons of aftermarket mc's. I have one off a YZ coming for mine. My Chinese front mc quickly broke and I would not recommend them.
