allready swapping the forks on my SX

Found a 200x for 150 bucks that I couldn't refuse! so here I am. I had a 70 project a while ago but sold it to pick up a larger machine.
Anyways my question is as follows.
The head tube bearings on my 250 SX are they upgradeable? or just replace the loose ball style they are?

thanks guy looking forward to posting in big forum but need the post count I guess.

Many have done it. I can't tell you if there are aftermarket non-loose bearings though. You want to sell the SX front end let me know.

There is absolutley nothing wrong with the loose bearing design on the SX. You can do the allballz upgrade but seriously, what is the advantage over the loose bearings? I cant think of a single thing. I have three SXs and all are in the stock configuration with no issues. If you need some bearings (loose) let me know. I have a bunch of them.

One thing though. If you put a 200X front end on your SX, You will need to make and weld a steering stop to the front of the frame neck about 1/2 inch up from the bottom of the frame neck. I have an SX with a 350X front end its the steering stops are the same as the 200. If you need a steering stop, let me know. I have a few in my drawer I cut on the waterjet.
