I cant belive there is no aftermarket exhaust for these bad boys what the heck what have my fellow big red owners done to there's post some pics guys ant let us know how to do it and how it worked for you thanks......

i made a muffler for my old one, looked like a mini fartcan packed it with steel wool and fiberglass and had a perforated core. tig welded it toget, sounded awesome, like a glasspack.

If you want you could get a supertrapp for a trx250x from about 87. Same engine just a four-wheeler and it mounts on the frame the same. Look for 250sx with supertrapp on youtube

I have a Cobra on my 85 250es... everything looks like it was made for the machine, mounts etc. Best running machine I have, yet the ugliest.
