i dont really care that it was hijacked, but can a mod edit out the silliness to preserve the point?

no one is upset or angry, its just a matter of how things are interpreted through someone's else's typed words. jus chilllllllll

and NEWOLDSTOCKtreefitty-ex... way ahead of you on the out of state passes. muchas gracias Sr. Limpio.

I'm working on cleaning the thread up, taking me a minute to sort it all out
better than just wacking the hole thing.

MODERATOR NOTE: To anyone who would advise people about registrations and vins, due to the fact that the laws differ so far from state to state I would recommend against starting debates regarding the topic. Making a general statement and then leaving it alone may fly but arguing about it does nothing but make trash on the board. It's everyone's own business to worry about their own legal responsibility.

Further, I understand the comments did pertain to the hash marks on this frame in the beginning but I deleted all the posts because of the nonsense it created. DO NOT visit the registration topic again. Your posts were cleaned up for a reason. I do not want to clean them up again.

    couple small updates:

added the westcoast swingarm decals and the bills pipe silencer decal (THANKS FMNRD!!) and a couple NOS sudco decals on the fenders

also tossed on a sticky tribute to one of our members! maybe this sticker is wishful thinking... someday ill be as fast as ol deuce!

added the tether kill switch as well as some NOS ONEAL pink grips.

dad made number plates for the bikes so i mounted one up and ran the cables through it. not crazy about the number plate, but it sure looks lots better than the stack of DIXIE plates i had planned on running. put a NOS 100% sticker on the back of the number plate, like my BMX days. and a NOS BELRAY decal on the front. couple more decals and one last thorough going through and she'll be totally ready

wouldnt say im giving up on it. ive had my fun with it, but it just sits. i raced it in the CALVMX race on may 19th and had it out at the local track here a few times. the bike is a real animal, but its just sitting right now with no immediate plans to ride it. i have way too many bikes right now, and even more priorities that require $$. not in any rush to sell it, and im realistically going to end up sitting on it for a while as i'll bet that this attempt to sell will probably pittle out.

im all about "patina," and this bike has EARNED every bit of its 'uglyness.' every spot where the paint is worn off the frame, the stickers, the notches on the neck, and everything else thats not shiny and new has a story to tell. seems as though that feeling is not shared across the board and as i see it sit, i start to feel like it deserves better. i cannot bring myself to strip the frame down and repaint it, but this bike deserves that and more.

It has a vin plate. Are there issues getting trikes across the border?

I don't know if I'm sad or happy to see this for sale. Trying to juggle some numbers around. Would be pretty cool to add to the collection and run it as well. Best of luck either way.

Still have it. its tucked away in storage currently.

I raced it at Cahuilla Creek MX in 2013. Got the holeshot in the main and had to settle for 2nd to Dham and his liquid cooled machine.
