    A little handlebar input please?

I'm starting to look around for some of the parts for my '85 250r build.

Looking for handlebars online at the usual parts distributors I'm not finding any measurment specs. The biggest concern I have is for the clamp spacing to be correct. My current 350r has a set of Renthals on it (clamp spacing correct) that I like alot but they were bought quite a few years ago and I have no idea what they are as far as profile specs.

I'm looking for low, wide and not much sweep. I would prefer Renthal but am open to others. Looking to spend arounf $75 or less as I don't do any jumping or anything like that. I like a crossbar too.

Can anyone tell me of a bike/atv make model that would have the correct bar clamp spacing?? Most of the online sites want you to filter your search by make/model and as you could probably guess you get alot of nothing when searching for ATC 250r parts like that. And for some reason they don't get into rise/width/clamp width and sweep specs on the online description. Just a bunch of general "banshee bend", "windham bend" etc etc that I have no idea if they are what I'm looking for.

I did a search on this and got some older hits and not a whole lot of what I am specifically looking for.

    Thanks guys!

Check my profile for pics of my bars. I've got renthal twinwalls with I believe a cr bend they've got a cross bar and they're low pro with a wide and fairly straight stance. I had to get some tusk bar adapters which raised em about 3/4 of an inch. Do a search on my short track R build to get a more current pic. The bars were free to me but I think you could get em for pretty cheap now and the adapters for around 30.

Just looked up the price on those bars, definately beyond your budget unless you get some that are used which there are a few decent sets on there.

There's a guys on ebay who makes a repro set of the factory R bars...very nicely done, identical to the factory. I believe they're only 70.00 as well. I have a set on my 350x and am very satisfied!

Thanks. The clamp spacing is correct on these I presume??

That ATV F bend looks way higher than I like.... The one that looks more to my liking is the CR High Bend

I have a set of Easton EXP 1 3/8" bars. No cross bar, but idk if you require that. Atv low bend, taper wall, bottom tube is wide enough to fit perfectly, came with the clamp adapters/risers, feel great. Claims anti-fatigue, but idk. Got them from motosport.com on a huge sale, like 30 shipped. May still find a good deal, the clamp adapters alone are normally like 35. The clamps are designed in a way so you don't have to chase the bolts around to get a tight fit.

Oh, and they are serial numbered and have the profile codes stamped into them, so no guessing if you like the feel but need to replace them!
