Crap! I thought that the water pump impeller might of been metal... Great! But yes I am very happy about this thing. Ive had it for less then 24 hours and I love it! Wish me more luck. Im going to pull the water pump off now.

Just finished pulling the water pump cover after i drained all of the water. I cycled the engine with the kick start and the impeller spun.boy am I lucky. Then I drove it around a little.

I looked into it. A cotter pin. Should of did that when I had the water pump cover off. Oh well. Ill get it pinned next time Im draining the radiator.

use a brand new drill bit... and go slow... if you go fast .. the bit will walk off the shaft and melt the plastic..and will be fubar.... you will need to cut the cotter key down to size... and start right in the front edge of a blade... and will only need to go through one.

Yep. I saw your thread! Yours is nicer than mine. I think im even on my luck for finding this(good) but the problems it came with(bad). It needs new maier rear fenders, the right radiator shroud and the water... That was a headache. Im hoping soon it will look great. Good luck on getting that one out there. My 200x and 200s are in houston

And wish I saw that pic of the cotter pin trick when I had my water pump apart for the oil seal. Gotta love common sense fixes!
