I've heard that regular paddle tires arent good for snow, but how well would something like the kenda gecko perform in snow? How about mud?
anyone ever tried something like that?

I was considering Sand Stars paddles for my winter meats. Then I thought about how they would only be good for deep snow, if they worked at all in snow. Also they would get chewed up on the frozen dirt roads and pavement and would have zero traction on ice. So now I'm gonna get ITP Spidertraks, they act like a paddle in snow and are fine to use on the roads that I drive and in the summer they can be my mud tires. My point is that paddle tires work best in sand, not mud or snow. They are purpose built for sand, just like Mudzillas are made for mud.

Spidertracs have done good for me in the snow on my 250r.
I'm still waiting for enough snow to try the geckos.
Don't really want to thrash them.
Will let you know.
