    Pic of crash!

    I was thumbing through some old race pictures and found this crash. I bet that hurt!
    Still looking for an "original" TC dual plug head for a 200X!

    why is it that (almost) everytime i see a honda flipping,the seat and fenders seem to come off the machine????

    They were bad about that! I guess the spring on the latch is just not strong enough to keep the latch tight.
    Still looking for an "original" TC dual plug head for a 200X!

    Thanks for posting that pic, catfishwhisker!

    I live about 30 minutes from the track in the picture. I believe all they race there now is dirt track cars. Boyd Raceway, Boyd TX. At the time that pic was taken, I was probably 12 or 13 and lived an hour and a half away!!! Back in the day, it was a stop on the National circuit.

    I think Honda was the only one that had the fenders and seat in one piece. Dont worry though, the tradition has continued. The TRX250R's do the same thing in a crash!

    The rear fender and seat on the 86/87 Tecate are removed as one piece too, but they are bolted on, not released by a lever.

    Actually he does live close to it. He lives in Weatherford,Tx., which is about 30 minutes from Boyd, TX (where I used to live). 84ATC250R, if you and Jeb are having problems, please take it to a private message and sort it out.
