    Newby from UK

Hi , I don't own a ATC just yet but always wanted to. I currently race a TRX700xx and race pretty much all forms of racing. Back on topic , MCF/QRA are doing an "EVO" series here in the UK and thinking of getting an ATC to race. They say it would be able to compete in MX,XC TT and oval racing. I am thinking of getting either a 85 ATC250r,any ATC350x or building a TPC450r.

What would you guys suggest ?

Also , I would be racing pre 2000 quads .

    Hello mate

Hello, I joined this site a few weeks ago as I got a tri z250 of me mates son £120. It has stood in his yard since 08 after the frame snapped after some jumping. The weather has took its toll but it fired up after pulling some fresh fuel through and cleaning the plug. It is nearly pulled apart now and there will be a few quid to spend but I have sold some sh1t on ebay and the money will be going to the US on a DG pipe, plastics, etc. etc.
Had a 250r when I was a teenager in the 80s it was off its nut one of the boys got a tri z but it was more agricultural but now in me 40s will probably fu2king kill me! Am looking for yz ypvs kit with cdi bigger carb etc etc to put on it to liven it up a bit. Wont be standard as I will be doing usd fork conversion brembo brakes, banshee rear etc etc. Parts are pretty much not available
Probably wont be able to race it in a series but will have a look at rules. I used to race motocross bikes but am probably a bit long in the tooth now this thing will let me know, hope to be done in a few months as the parts are coming in now.
Anyhow good luck in finding a trike and if you have any info on racing these let me know.
    Cheers.

85 or 86 250R were the race trikes. The 86 has common rear end parts with the quad, which is a benefit. 350X is great, but not really designed for racing.
