What function does the plastic "REVERSE SHAFT" on a 1984 Honda Big Red 200es fulfill other than looking cheesy, being overpriced, and nearly as impossible to find as an honest politician? If it is not absolutely needed, I will run my trike without it. Any input will be most appreciated.
