I have a 1973 Johndeere, 440-500 series.Needs to be put back together all parts are there and also has extra parts.If you are looking for a project to put together or you have a sled that needs extra parts this is a machine for you. Asking $200

I'm interested if I could get it cheap enough to put it together and Get it running to resell and hopefully make some profit from it, Thoughts?

Well think what you want that some John Deere engineer had the great idea to screw the number system up on these series it's a John Deere 500 came factory with the 440 just like the John Deere 400 has a 340. No idea behind the logic

I own a 73 John Deere 400 right now lol. Have had it for 4 years. Picked it up for $75 in mint shape first ride cracked the seat. Difficult to find a seat for it. Only down fall is the ccw motor and wahlbro pumper carb.
