recently acquired a carb off a 400 honda and want to install it on my 85 350x .can somebody lead me in the direction as to what jets might need to be installed to start with.this carb is 2mm bigger than stock.its 36mm at the throtte.thanks for any help

I know this dosen't help but I just put my 400ex carb on this past weekend. I did not have to change my jetting as of right now I. It has great throttle response and Really woke up that came and exhaust on my motor. We will see when it warms up if I will need to change my pilot jet. Good luck!

X2 ^^ i also put a 400ex carb on my 85 and used the jets that were in my 350x carb.. Ran awesome, no dead spots anywhere.. If you are starting from scratch and still need jet sizes i wouldn't know but hopefully someone who does will chime in.. Maybe send flyingW a pm an he should be able to help you

400 ex is more cc's so need more fuel but not much. if anything would make 350x run rich. the jets have a # stamped on them. see what the 400 carb has and 350x carb. i would say toss it on and ride it for a while and then check your plug. if heavil sooted go with 350x jet or something in between. i imagine 400 carb is bigger (flow more air) so would think 350x jet would be lean. better to be rich than lean.
