85-86 250r plastic on an 83 250r

i remember reading that you can fit an 86 250r front fender on an83-84 250r what about the rear fenders?. would i have to get a an 85-86 seat as well. the reason i ask is i have nicer 86 plastic then the 83 and thought of fitting it to the trike well any input is welcome thanks mike

Yes I have a front fender from an 86 on my 83 250r. The only thing you have to do it find a way to keep the brake cable from flopping around. As for the rear, I am not sure about that one. I am wondering if the tank from an 85-86 would also fit on an 83 with minor mods.
