Tri_Z handlebar dimensions and wider replacement options?

After several rides on this Z, I'm thinking these bars aren't stock, They seem way too narrow. I'm wanting to replace them with something wider that will give me adequate leverage over the front, as is only time it turns easily is when the front is lofted or traveling at a pretty good pace.

Also, are there any good bark busters that fit on the tri-z without hindering fingers from getting in front of the lever?
