stock gearing on my 85 with 20" stock banshee tires, to short of gearing and in 5th gear real quick. dont like it. in the sand with a 20" paddle its not to bad for duning.

I'm running a 13/42 on my Z with 20" tires and it is just about spot-on. I have an 86, however, so it is a 6 speed transmission--thankfully. My 86 Tecate is a 5 speed and it really needs 6. With too few gears it is hard to get the bottom and top you like. Either is it geared to too low and the top end suffers or it is geared too high and the bottom suffers.
