    ATC 200es Seat

I have three ATC 200es's and have just realised that one has a metal seat rather than a plastic one. Were the original seats metal?

    Thanks

    Hello

Apparently so, here's an ad below. I thought they were just wanted to be sure.

"The seat Pan on the earlier ATC200E models are prone to early retirement due to "rust out". This will never happen again once you fit one of these reproduction fibreglass seat pans. Just glue on a new cover and your good to go."

Actually the 200ES (1984) seat pans were plastic. Prior to that (in 1982 and 1983) the 200E seat pans were metal.

If the 200ES you have has a metal seat, then the seat was likely taken off a 200E.

Yep, sounds like the one with a metal seat pan has a 200E seat on it. I haven't seen a single 200ES with a metal pan, so i assume they were all plastic from the factory.
