    Finally got a 350x

Brought it home last Sunday. Chain broke on test drive, no rear plastic, rear brakes not working , also back fires. The back firing could be from the piece together exhaust and jetting maybe. Now the positive, fires right up and sounds healthy, shifted well, has extra factory rims and most important I finally own one. I traded my dirtbike for it and the owner of the trike gave me another $400. My bike was worth about $1800. I have only seen 2 in my area in the last 2 years. The cheaper 1 being $2300. I think I took a bit if a beating on this deal. I don't care. My son and I get to look and save for parts and hopefully have this beast running and looking good in the future. I will be feeding off the information from this site and hopefully I can get some advice.

    Cool!

And it has the headlight! Not the easiest or cheapest part to find. Brakes, plastics, chain are easy. It will turn out great!

Nice start of a machine! Find the flex pipe a strange option for exhaust haha! But you will have fun with it!

Right on! Thanks guys. I have a few other things to take care of first, money wise and then I am going to get moving on this trike.

Welcome to the club! That headed pipe looks like its from an xr400, should be stainless steel (I'm searching for a deal on one threw e-bay right now) Seems to be pretty complete trike, e-bay will become your best friend now, lol. Is the spare set of rims '86 as well?

Nice 350x wish i had one in my collection. i like getting them in need of some work (besides the extra money you have to spend) makes them more sentimentally valuable to me once you fix them your self and personally gives me somthing to think and dream about........good luck and have fun keep us posted on your project

Are the rims on it from a 86? The extras are different. The headed pipe is a fmf powerbomb. Maybe a xr 400 model? The trike also came with the original head pipe.
