    calibrating a speedometer

    I think I have a problom. I recently put a new speedometer on my BigRed. Its all set up correctly. I was out the other day and going a decent speed. Like 40ish. When I looked at my speedometer. It was reading about 10. I was talking to some one about it and they said it may have to be calibrated. And one know how to calibrate a speedometer? Or if this guy was just b-sing me

    Ok its gear griven. But then it goes to this box and the turns in to two wires. Then to the speedo. Its from a 85 fourtrx.
