So my 1983 Yamaha yt125 was running good but the other day I was riding on pavement and it would bog down when I put it in gear and gave it gas but as soon as I hit dirt it would run just fine and its been doing it ever since any help?

I would start by checking the adjustment on the clutch. There's a stud that runs through the pressure plate and actuating mechanism. You can see it when you take the oil fill cover off. It will have two nuts on it. Make sure the stud has no in and out play, but is not tight enough that you can't turn it with your fingers. If either of these problems exist, adjust accordingly.
