    Why a red sprocket on some forums and gray on others?

    I've searched everywhere on here and can't find out why there are different colored sprockets on some thread headers? I see red ones occasionally and the rest seem to be grey colored. reason?

    Hot topics, the ones that arent shadowed out have new posts. The dull grey ones are just standard topics with minimal traffic. Thats what I can make of it at least
