I have a 200 E yamaha three wheeler it is yellow with shaft drive and racks on front and back, electric start with backup pull rope and no reverse could someone tell me how to figure out what year it is?

If there is a sticker behind the headlight on the down tube of the frame, that should have the year on it, if not, you can look at the engine number which is located on the trans behind the cylinder. I know the repair manual I use has the engine number listed for each year.
Anyone know of a new project machine for me around Wisconsin?

Look on the front right of the frame behind the headlight. Get me this number. You either have an 83 or an 84 I can tell you this much for sure. All parts are interchangable between the years.
