Looks nice but here's the problem. These are worth way more over there than they are here and I think one just recently sold on ebay for around $10k. So unless this guy just fell off of the turnip truck [which is possible] the price is a misprint. If it is not it was gone an hour after the ad came out if it is in fact as nice and low mileage as he says. Rear tires look a bit worn but hard to see.

I got a return email last night and the guy said 2850.00 us plus shipping and that was it. No other remarks. The plus shipping made me slightly curious though as nothing about that was asked.......

The ad and the guy could be legit however this is another possibility. I know theses scams well. Email the guy and tell him you want to buy and will have a friend of yours in England come look at it and if it’s as described he will hand him the cash and take it away. Tell him you need an address you’re your friend so he can look up where he lives. Tell him you both need his phone number to coordinate things since neither of you are on the computer much and you might want to just call and get more info instead of emailing back and forth. Ask him if he has a title. This should do it. Go ahead and post his exact response if you want if it sounds fishy like, well I lost the title, I don’t know how to use a phone but I can use a computer, lol. I’m in Afghanistan fighting for world peace right now but just wire money and I’ll have someone ship it for you etc.

At least if it’s a scam you can have some fun.

Someone tried to scam me on a machine from Craigslist. She would only communicate using email. She would not give me a phone number and wanted all of my information. The machine was supposed to be in my town per the ad, but it was shipped out of state because someone else wanted it. The deal supposedly fell through. She offered to send the machine to my house and I would not have to pay unless I liked it. She would pay for the return shipping if I didn't want to keep it. I called the person out for scamming and did not give them information or money. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Be very careful!!! Sending money out of the country to buy something is dangerous. Look into eBay buyer protection to see if that would cover you with an out of the country transaction. Maybe have him set up a "buy it now" eBay auction for you that is buried, so only you can find it with the auction number. Just an idea.

if anyone is serious about this, you could have him throw it on a ebay with BIN price at a known time. then you are not only protected by ebay but paypal too..and tracking #'s and so forth.

only problem would be if he has to register for ebay, and has no history or feedback...

Hi Barnett, the bike is situated in Perth,Scotland,which is a very long way for me.ive e mailed the guy and the trike is still for sale ,it looks real nice but unless a courier will deliver then not much chance of me being interested,

Hi Barnett, sorry there didn't see the aforementioned quote regarding my tecate,I've got the NOS Durablue axle from Aaron off this site, just waiting for the weather to turn before I strip it down,it's bloody freezing here,the last Easter bank holiday we all had t-shirts on not winter coats! The sprock head hasn't arrived yet,usually takes about a month to recieve parts from USA,I got a chrome engine bolt set from same guy-Gregor from Off Road Innovation, I will post updates as soon as I start,
