    1984 250r ATC shock help!!

The guy who owned this three wheeler before me extended the Swing arm and in the mean time cut off the shock brackets. I was wondering if anyone could give me pics on how this all goes back together and where ish I should weld new brackets. Thank you for any pics or guidance!

    Hello

Do you have photos of your stuff you can post a link to. Rcurtis photos are very and helpful but my guess is that you might have a little bigger problem. We'll hope not.

That's a nice bike seems lik a steal for a clean classic like that but it hasn't hit the reserve yet. Probably wants $4k or more.

The pic from eBay helped a whole lot! There is a swing arm cushion and a dog bone with mine. Are these important parts because most of the pics I can find don't seem to have them hooked up and if that is the case then I might have this thing figured out. I will have pics to come soon. Thank y'all!

There is alot of difference between 83 and 84 250r suspension and rear shock, linkage, dogbone, swingarm and rear shock/motor mount.I just changed my 83 300r rear over to the 84.I had to change everything except pivot bolt.

THANK YOU! That is awesome! One last thing I am confused about is the "cushion arm" coming off the lower part of the dram, how does that mount? If you tell me that it's not important, then bye-bye it goes. Hopefully that is the answer because it doesn't seem to "fit" anywhere. Thank you!

That is absolutely perfect! Thank you! I will post pics soon, I am new to the forum and still figuring things out. The guy who had it before me did a horrible swing arm extension! Luckily it is all fixable with a ton of grinding and a little welding. Thank you for posting the pics for me! I will get the pics up soon.
