    Can't get a grip!

The PO of my 250R Armor-alled EVERYTHING ; which looks great but I can't stay on the seat! I'm sliding all over the place even at slow speeds! Anybody got any tips on how to to degrease it? I don't want to use any harsh chemicals because the seat itself is in mint condition. Do I just have to wait it out? Surely someone has some experience with this.

Rubbing alcohol will also breakdown the armorall and it will clean up a lot better, but I don't know about using it on the seat(any cleaning agent may take off the seat stencil)

    Hello

Found the following on other sites. I would try no 1. After doing dozens of tests scientist found that Dawn dish soap was the best thing for removing oil from all the animals that got slimed from the oil spills so that's ALL they used. Pretty cool huh.

    Removing silicone

1 Fill l a bucket with 2 quarts warm water, 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 tsp. dish soap.

    2. Dip a cleaning rag into the bucket, wring out the rag well and wipe across the plastic car surfaces.

    3. Continue as needed, dipping the rag back into the cleaner as needed to rinse off Armor All residue.

    4. Let the plastic air dry and examine to make sure all residue is removed. If you notice any leftover Armor All residue repeat the cleaning application.

    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Woolite and water, mixed 1 part Woolite to 8 parts water. Put it in a spray bottle, and use this along with a terry cloth or microfiber towel.

    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Megs APC diluted 10:1 usually removes everything from any plastic surface for me.
Either way, when I do that it strips everything off and leaves it looking 'flat.'
