Here are a few pictures i have taken. I will be putting the motor back together this weekend. The wrist pin and and connecting rod were shot. so i replaced all that with a high comp piston, web cam and pipe and jet kit. In about a week i should be able to hear it run.

nice bike. it should be a fun bike. if motor is out I assume you are rebuilding it. check your timing chain slack. I know these motors quite well and I tell everyone to check it. was Hondas first try at self adjusting tensioner. worked but didn't move very far. when its assembled if its not nice and tight on cam gear you need to replace the chain. seen many get too loose and jump teeth and blow motor.

? what is with the front tire. I see that every now and then, a tire with a v tread pattern running backwards on front. just a mounting accident or on purpose?

Yeah i'm rebuilding the motor, i'm replacing the timing chain while its apart so i don't have to worry about it. Ha ha i get a lot of questions about the front tire. There is no rhyme or reason, we just grabbed one of the front wheels and bolted it up to see if it would fit. Since then i rebuilt the front forks and swapped out the other tire.
