    Is it supposed to be hard to find aftermarket pipe for T-3s?

    From what I understand both FMF and DG offer exhausts for the Tecate. Are they not any good or something????

    If I remember correctly, somebody on here said they used a pro circuit pipe from a kx 250.

    DG only makes pipes for the 84/85.

    they still offer a silencer for the 86/87, thats it.

    I didn't think FMF offered anything... maybe it's a T4 pipe, not a T3?

    I agree. FMF makes a silencer for the T4.. Without the midpipe, it will work on the T3 (power core 2). I would really like to know where to find a complete aftermarket exhaust for my 87 T3 though!!! LOL!!

    how many aftermarket pipes were available for the 86/87 tecate?

    i have only seen dg pipes, and possibly a psi that i almost bought. did fmf make a pipe for it? someone on the board said they had an FMF, but it looked stock to me.

    it is still mine right now. at this point in time NO ONE makes a pipe for the 86-87 tecate 3. i have seen used DG pipes bring over $350 on ebay. :shock:

    FMF never made a T3 pipe past demo. I had one ordered for mine in 87 but they called back and said they weren't going to manufacture them. I bought a Bill's Pipe instead.

    Well, back in the day you had DG, Bill's, Klemm & Bassani just to name a few.

    you can take a 250r fmf silencer and shorten the stinger to fit. that is what i did. it mounted perfect to the stock pipe. i had to redo it to match the pro circuit pipe.

    all you need is a saw and a mig welder

    How much is a Bassani (sp) pipe worth, I know a guy that has 1 or maybe more for 86-87 KXT's.

    Pipe

    Ill find out how much he wants for them ( if he has one) when I get mine.

    Im getting a new Bassani pipe for my YT175 for $100. I dont think it has a silencer, or includes shipping. Probably have to wait till the new year before I purchase it though (no money).
