83-87 YZ 250 Crank interchangable with Tri Z???

I was wondering if the 83-87 YZ 250 Crank is interchangable with a Tri Z found one on ebay looks almost the same? Has anyone ever did a swap like this?

83-84 yz will work 85 ,86,87 used a different stator and fly wheel.. they will not inter change with z stator and fly wheel ,,, if you use a yz crank you must use that stator after 85..

Yes I have. If your left side crank journal is good from the OEM Z engine you can press that onto the Yz crank and still run your Z lights and ignition system. If you use the YZ crank az it sits , as stated you will have to run the dirtbike flywheel and stator which has no lighting system

no matter what you do .. your at the mercy of your crank tolerances being with in spec , for the crank bearings per side .... buying a crank and throwing a rod on it is nothing .. if the left or right is shot,,,
