    Anyone know the stock 86 T3 frame color?

    I feel like im chasing a ghost. Searched but came up w/hundreds of opinions. Is it gray...is it sliver...is it silver gray...I bought 7 different brands and colors of s but cant to get close to my friends stock frame/swinger color. Anyone ever research it before?

    If the banshee silver is a close color then i would use it also. I would much rather use kawasaki silver but cant find it. How did you find the yamaha color and what is it?...thanks

    Banshees are like bees here, there everywhere. The guy that does my powder coating has the exact match for the factory Yamaha, silver color. The 86 TECATE I'm working on has been sprayed bombed a few times,
    so there's nothing to go by for me in terms of color. I'm pretty sure it will be very, very nice when done.
    It's an option... Anyone ???

    This is a kawi frame paint but I think it is slightly brighter than the orig which I think is gentry gray. Both colors available from colorrite.com see bottom of page. I would use this one because it is a little flashier. Both are ultra fine metallic silver as original.
