Anyone have suggestions on how to keep new fenders looking new?

I have a full set of new Maier white fenders coming and I was wondering if those of you with experience have any tips or tricks on keeping them looking new besides the obvious, washing the trike after every ride. I will be picking up another R in the near future that will be my rider and this one will be retired to light duty but until then, I wanna try to keep everything as pristine as possible. Thanks!

Another option to the spray on coating if ypu opt not to go that way is get some clear plastic kitchen drawer liner from home depot and stick that to the high rub areas. it will easily peel off if not left on for more than a year at a time. Use hair dryer for installation on cold plastic if necessary, same thing for removal. Low pressure water won't bother it.

If by looking new you mean you want to keep them clean just spray/wipe them down with wd-40 before you ride and the dirt will rinse right off when you're done.

Yeah it's cheap, fast and easy to do. I guarantee it works, I have done it many times. They also use something in the front of cars to prevent chipping from road gravel. You can still put Meguires liquid plastic protector or wax etc on the unprotected areas for added protection there. When you remove the plastic just wipe any adhesive residue away with cheap paint thinner. Wash that off with soap and water and start again.
