2012 Yamaha Grizzly 450, slight worry.

Saturday I went ahead and put a $500 cash deposit on a Lightly used Grizzly 450 with 51 miles on it. It was either that or a brand new leftover 2012 big bear 400. Currently waiting till Monday for the banks to come back with financing offers. However, while I'm waiting I went back to the website and saw a picture that has me a little worried. The exhaust on this ATV looks like it got VERY hot at one point. I'll post the picture here, what does everyone think? This isn't a done deal. I can go back in on Monday and demand the new big bear instead of the grizzly 450. Is this something I should worry about or is that color on the exhaust normal? Thanks!

I don't know how it could get that hot back there unless it was welded. but I don't even think it would look that

I had someone on another forum say they took their grizzly for a long trail ride and wound up with an exhaust like that, said it was normal. I still might go in and change my mind. I really wanted the big bear in the first place but somehow they talked me into this. I'd rather have the 0 miles 5 speed big bear.

That's normal, after a few rides the Yamaha mufflers turn colors.

so far thats 2 people saying "Normal". well if it really is I guess I'll stick with this grizzly. I just didn't wanna end up buying this then having it blow up in my face with no warranty.

It is normal for sure. I would HIGHLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! recommend you look at the Honda Rancher line, and if you are more performance oriented a Can Am. That is a hog of a machine. Sorry, and good luck !
Please help those who cannot help themselves.
